Who are you?
We are Orlin Marinov and Hovhannes Vardevanyan - we are best friends, both 25 years old, living in a beautiful European country called Bulgaria. We both like writing music, rapping, painting, etc… Orlin is now studying fashion design and Hovhannes is working as a jeweller. We want to say "Thank you!" to all of you, who believe in our idea and support The Eternal Picture. Remember that this is the project of our lives as it is meant to outlast the lifetimes both of the founders and the participants. Once again, thanks!
Is this another copycat/rip-off?
No, it is not. Wondering why? Because this is the first time a website is offering the idea for a whole picture of the 21st century people. This is not an advertising page, unlike the hundreds of MillionDollar-Blah-Blah out there. Yes, we do use the smart block-by-block selling system similar to the one invented by Alex Tew in 2005 but we would not call our project a "rip-off" since this system is so widely used at different websites. And don`t forget our ambitious promise to keep this online for some good 100 years and our unique Guarantee. So - we are an original, not a copycat.
Can I choose the position of my picture?
Yes you can. Just let us know which block(s) you desire with your e-mail order. You can choose from all the blank blocks. If someone already has ordered the same block(s) that you order, but his/her order is still in process, we will contact you asking you to choose another position. So, the sooner you order, the better placing (and attention) you can get!
How do I describe my desired position?
It's easy. Follow this link:
VIEW BLOCKS
Just look at the numbers on the top and bottom side (horizontally) and those on the left and right (vertically). Using these numbers you can describe exactly which block(s) you want. Example: 1 block (H:17, V:20), or 4 blocks (H:17-18, V:20-21). H and V mean horizontally and vertically. We know this is a little weird and not the easiest way to order but our big promise is: As soon as possible (when the project starts earning some money), we will offer one-click ordering to make it easier for you.
Can I change my picture later?
No. This is called The Eternal Picture - the idea is that it keeps its look unchanged during the years - just like a real picture does. You only have the chance to change it before the project is completed; after that - it will be locked.
Can I use different images for small and large picture?
No. Both pictures must represent the same image and the same proportion. When you hover the mouse pointer over the small picture the pointer acts as a magnifier - that's why its important for the images to be the same. No violent, explicit, copyrighted and so on images are allowed. Well, if you want to show more than just your face - you`d better take more than one 10x10 block. You can still be smiling (recommended:), wear (sun)glasses, make a crazy face… well, whatever you think is some kind of normal to keep for 100 years…
Can I remove my picture?
You can remove your picture before the project is completed - just email us. After that - you`ll need a serious reason to do so - note that this will cause the whole Eternal Picture to change its look.
Can I change my link (URL) behind my picture?
Yes, you can. Send us your new link (URL) using the same email address you used for ordering your block(s). We will update your link soon after that. Changing your link is free but you are allowed to update it only once every 6 months.
